The continued effort of establishing myself here in Colorado Springs Colorado is a major pain in the buttocks. People here are all sketchy and have lost thier moral compass. My expectations of the LS that brought me here was below any conventional expectation and further Solidified what I have suspected from the beginning. I kept hearing things like "don't worry about it I will fix it"
While I was learning about thier so called standards the constant yelling and threats were just thier way of telling me that this job was temporary and I shouldn't count on them. The lesson here? Not sure if I would call it a lesson but rather a reminder of what these people really care about...yes that would be the almighty dollar.
So moving forward, I'm still looking for a group of people who will take advantage of my skill sets and experience and begin a mutual respected relationship that will allow us both to prosper and gain knowledge and experience in what we enjoy doing, Land Surveying and Civil engineering in a wonderful community and beautiful state.

I've traveled to almost every state in the union. I've done my best to stay ahead of technology so that I can be more marketable to my PLS or PE. The goal is for my stamps to use my skillset to complete and or demonstrate how these new tools and workflows can be applied.
During these projects or engineering proof of concepts there was a little tiny individual who is jealous and hateful of people like me. He spread lies and rumors just to take clients away from me. The point to this story is. Nomattwr what anybody says they can't take away my knowledge or experience. It's not that I'm worried about the potential damage he might create. It's the fact that this clown thinks he can lie, steal and cheat his way into land surveying and civil engineering.
There is no shortcut, trick or youtube video that will teach you how to do the job. As far as drones are concerned, the only difference between drone surveys and traditional surveys is about 10-15 years of experience. So to all the idiots in Colorado springs Colorado and most likely denver...Daddys money won't fix stupid.
If you folks ever decide that you want to seriously learn the correct way, give me a shout and a cup of coffee...cheers...have a great weekend

Not only were they not able to follow procedure or understand GPS , They would fake in things for the sake of getting it done. They lied about everything and are just buying time to retire with as much money as they can get the PLS is a warm rock with a little moss growing. These clowns faked everything and lied about 99.9 percent of what came out of there mouths. The three clients that I brought wouldn't even try to communicate with them because of past experiences.
I've never been involved with a bunch of lovers like this before. Absolutely incredible, the attorney said I shouldn't name them until paperwork is final but I'm sure tempted when I recall what they did.

Getting ready to upgrade to a new computer and onboard with Carlson 2025 for local Colorado 2d Survey work. I don't know about you but working with Carlson 2025 has been a huge disappointment. its like drawing with crayons instead of a mechanical pencil i.e.. Autodesk Civil3d AEC.
We all have our personal likes and dislikes but not being able to integrate your supposed 2d survey work into a 3d geospatial world is reckless and dangerous. I will be taking some advice on the ability and to get some sub-contract drafting work and post processing and lidar extraction work. I'm trying to make enough money to buy a used Toyota 4runer. I need a SUV and be able to go places and meet people. I don't appreciate being treaded like this and held hostage. I hope it will get better....hopefully

Successful test of VSLAM at 345'feet mapping Colorado River basin and surface features surrounding area. Realtime mapping /GPS stable RTK via VRS RTK-NET.
Point node spread was set to 1.5'feet X 0.09'feet at post processing Photogrammetry data set of Horizontal = 0.05'feet X Vertical = 0.09'feet NAVD88 NAD83 TEXAS CENTRAL.
I used ground measurements horizontal ties and vertical measurements for vertical ties and did a multi-point resection to ground proof final surface post processing and matched to the real-time screen shots within 0.06 screen real-time and 0.07 screen real-time. I was satisfied with this method of ground proofing the workflows that starting June 2025 FALCON VISION UAV will incorporate this new method for all Aerial Surveys including ground Surveys. VSLAM does in fact have a role in our future navigation and data collection programs.

For those of you who do not know who I am or what I do, allow me to give you a perspective view. I'm a student of Land Surveying and Civil Engineering as well as Astrology . I started my learning adventure in 1988. I've been fortunate to have been involved in some of the world's exotic construction projects and off world.

It has been said that some of us have a passion for what we do. I would add to that, we are passionate about our industry and territorial about our Knowledgebase and we are proudful of our investment in continuing education.
It's not easy to gain trust and confidence from our Professional Land Surveying peers. So whenever we are able to share, prove and explain our roles in survey for Civil engineering projects, we tend to lean more towards the details then the general description of services offered. I hope you all have a great project experience and thank you for reading about my experiences in This Thing we call Survey. God Bless
In the next few weeks I will devote my time and energy to purchase transportation and tools to accommodate my workload.

Past few months have been so very difficult. I'm tired of dealing with project based work. I'm hoping to find a group of professionals that can take advantage of my skill sets and equipment. I'm still very interested in learning new things like workflows and new markets or new technologies that can offset our field investigations as well as our post processing of collected data.

Being grateful for friends and people who come into my life. You know who you are and I don't have the words to show or express my gratitude thank you and God Bless.
November 2023 Houston Texas, has been a total disappointment! Land Surveying companies who don't land survey and who have a total disregard to any standards or experience. Taking six steps backwards to keep step is counter productive.
As I call Alaska home. I call my friend Jeff almost a couple times per week. He brings me up to date with the news and I get first hand information on Jeff's health. For those of you who work with me on different projects, please say a prayer for my friend Jeff. I pray he finds the strength and compassion as well as Grace to find peace and wisdom during his journey. We are always thinking about you and pray that the Holy Spirit embraces you and gives you everything you are looking or needing for.

It's been over 100 degrees every day and sometimes night. It's a shame that the support needed for this one project is not available. It has made my investment in time and energy more problematic.
I'm finding myself getting frustrated with myself and the people around me. I have the highest regard for the surveying firms who have invested in these communities that exist in Texas. It's very hot and because it's very hot, it offers a set of difficulties that would not be an issue anywhere else. It take a special kind of person to stake and work under these circumstances.
Every job is a nightmare and every task is a burden. I'm not the licensed Surveyor, he is. Why does it have to be so difficult??? OMG!

I've spent 3 months in Round Rock Texas and it has been so very difficult. At this moment I can only say , I'm tired of dumb people.
